About

Waldiez addresses the growing complexity of building and deploying AI agent workflows by offering a no-code, open-source orchestration platform. As AI systems evolve beyond single-model prompts into multi-agent architectures, developers and researchers struggle with fragmented tools, steep technical barriers, and limited visibility into agent interactions. Existing solutions are either too rigid, too technical, or not designed for experimentation and collaboration. Waldiez fills this gap by enabling users to visually design, debug, and share agent workflows with ease—supporting major LLMs like OpenAI, Anthropic, NVIDIA, and locally hosted models. It opens up opportunities for innovation in research, education, automation, and community-driven AI development, while also supporting a B2C model through the Waldiez Hub, where users can publish and monetize their agent workflows.

Solution & Product

Waldiez is a visual orchestration platform that allows users to design, test, and share multi-agent AI workflows—without writing code. Built on top of the AG2 open-source Framework, Waldiez supports a wide range of language models including OpenAI, Anthropic, NVIDIA NIM, and local models via Ollama. Users can drag and drop agents, tools, and communication protocols to build complex, modular workflows inside JupyterLab, VS Code, or the standalone web app. Waldiez accelerates prototyping, encourages reuse through import/export functionality, and enables collaboration in both academic and enterprise environments. Our newest product, Waldiez Hub, extends this value by allowing users to publish their workflows, collaborate with others, and subscribe for access to enhanced features such as token bundles, cloud executions, and workflow monetization options—supporting an open and sustainable AI ecosystem.

Innovation & Scalability

Waldiez is an innovative orchestration platform that empowers users to build multi-agent AI workflows visually—without writing code. While most AI development tools focus on prompt engineering or basic chains, Waldiez is built for the emerging generation of agentic applications, enabling complex interactions, task delegation, and tool use across multiple LLMs. By leveraging AG2 (AutoGen) as its foundation and supporting models like OpenAI, Anthropic, NVIDIA NIM, and locally hosted agents, Waldiez delivers unmatched flexibility and openness. Our innovation lies in both technology and business model. Technologically, Waldiez offers the most comprehensive no-code UI for multi-agent orchestration, integrated directly into environments developers already use (JupyterLab, VS Code, and a web app). It supports AG2-native communication patterns (nested, group chat, task routing) and allows for rapid prototyping and reuse of workflows through import/export features. From a business perspective, Waldiez is open source, lowering barriers to adoption, while the Waldiez Hub introduces a novel B2C and B2B layer: a community-driven platform where individual users and organizations can share, showcase, and eventually monetize their workflows. This dual approach—open-core developer adoption plus paid community tiers—differentiates us from competitors focused solely on enterprise or proprietary tooling.

Traction & achievements

Waldiez was launched as an open-source project in late 2024 and quickly gained traction within the AI developer and research community. Key milestones include: •tOpen-source launch on GitHub with support for AG2 (AutoGen) and major LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, NVIDIA, Ollama) •tSuccessful deployment as a JupyterLab and VS Code extension, enabling seamless integration into developer workflows •tOver 65K installs via PyPI and growing weekly active users in AI prototyping circles •tPositive testimonials from experts at DeepMind and Microsoft, validating the platform’s technical value •tEarly partnerships with universities and AI research labs to use Waldiez in coursework and experimentation •tDevelopment of the Waldiez Hub, a subscription-based platform for sharing and monetizing workflows, scheduled for launch in Q4 2025 •tGrowing community on LinkedIn and Discord with early adopters contributing feedback and extensions
