The problem is apparent for all organizations (cross-industry) with assets/inventories to manage. It is the "chaos" of using emails, spreadsheets, phone calls, fragmented/unsearchable/paper-based registries, non-targeted software and other unsophisticated means to handle asset-related processes and utilization. We identified that the lack of a centralized, deep-searchable, AI-centered and workflow-oriented JIT assets/inventory management system causes significant loss of time and resources within an organization. Existing solutions partially solve the problem, as they do not apply modern innovation such as sophisticated AI and Augmented Reality solutions that can significantly increase the assets/inventories management efficiency and reduce costs. We bring a new approach to a massive horizontal market that will provide a competitive advantage to those that will embrace it.

Solution & Product

The problem is tackled by our combined software and hardware platform, which takes a different approach than the current market’s traditional assets/inventories management software. While we do deliver standard features such as handling asset location, requests, events/statuses, documents, reports, etc., our innovation is: - Unique smart forecasting and retrospective (AI) modules to deliver JIT (Just-In-Time, low stock, fast replenish) asset and inventory management, along with deep knowledge on the assets status, utilization, implied costs and more - Augmented Reality applications (mobile/tablet/headset) to optimize the use of warehouse and on-location space through digital, interactive 3D warehouse layouts, manage assets all hands-free, locate and extract assets in a timely fashion and more - Asset-specific intelligent QR code generation, with information (asset subcategory, etc.) and ease of use for the entire QR cycle handling (producing, placing, consuming)

Innovation & Scalability

Existing solutions provide a more traditional approach in assets/inventories management. Instead, we are heavily AI and AR focused/differentiated (while we do deliver the standard features: handling asset location, requests, events/statuses, documents, reports, etc.). We embed technological innovation through 3 pillars: - Unique smart forecasting and retrospective (AI) modules to deliver JIT (Just-In-Time, low stock, fast replenish) asset and inventory management, along with deep knowledge on the assets status, utilization, implied costs and more. We apply machine learning to the daily data collected from our users to identify patterns/trends and assist with proper reporting and recommendations on how to maximize the current or future efficiency. - Augmented Reality (AR) applications (mobile/tablet/headset) to optimize the use of warehouse and on-location space through digital, interactive 3D warehouse layouts, manage assets all hands-free, locate and extract assets in a timely fashion and more. We can provide full 3D representation services of warehouses and storage locations, from large buildings to small rooms, and apply our AR applications to track assets fast and easy. This also provides real-time and on-location historicity (maintenance log, events, etc.), another unique feature. - Asset-specific intelligent QR code generation. We provide information (asset subcategory, etc.) and ease of use for the entire QR cycle handling (producing, placing, consuming).

Traction & achievements

We have developed a working version of our product (not just an MVP but an actual solution), already licensed and used daily by a large organization: The Greek IRS & Customs Offices ("AADE"). AADE has many requirements and workflows (such as PDF document generation, automatic QR tagging, exports, asset procurement and transfer requests, maintenance, eliminations), many departments (347 up to now), many users (919 up to now), many roles, many assets (330K up to now), many asset categories (89) and subcategories (1032), with different fields per category, many filters, security considerations, and more. We aim to leverage this initial version (highly-appreciated by AADE) to create the next version soon, with more advances in our AI, AR and QR code unique features. Due to the successful operation in AADE, we have already been approached by two other government ministries for licensing our platform, with zero marketing and sales effort.
