ΥΜΝΩΔΟΣ – The "ΥΜΝΩΔΟΣ", AI mobile App, is a modern, flexible and comprehensive application for iOS and Android mobile devices. It is designed to provide the faithful with an aid so that one can attend and perhaps participate effectively in the Orthodox liturgy. It is a powerful modern tool that aims to upgrade the liturgy process to the digital age. "ΥΜΝΩΔΟΣ" is an App which includes the following standard modules: - Real time chant recognition using Machine Learning (ML) and AI Algorithms. The App can recognize Orthodox hymns utilizing ML technologies and screen the lyrics on the mobile device in English and Greek. The main technologies of “ΥΜΝΩΔΟΣ” are: - Machine Learning (ML), - Artificial Intelligence (AI) and - Natural Language Processing (NLP), which are proven software technologies for capturing, processing, and recognizing existing hymns to process matching, manipulation of data, trigger responses, and finally, communication with the believer.

Innovation & Scalability

Innovation: Due to recent research that has been conducted, there are limited or no software products in the global market that can be used as aids to the religious in the sense of “ΥΜΝΩΔΟΣ” and address the problem of the believer's participation in the liturgical performance of religious tourism. Especially in the Orthodox Church, there is no such solution. “ΥΜΝΩΔΟΣ” aims to meet exactly this need, and therein lies our innovation. Today, the help you provide to the believer who wants to participate in the liturgical of the Orthodox Church is through collections of written texts in the form of small books. The App “ΥΜΝΩΔΟΣ” is a powerful modern tool through which the believer can actively participate in the liturgical of the Orthodox Church. Its use also helps in the dissemination and preservation of the intangible cultural heritage of Orthodoxy and Byzantine hymns. Scalability: The solution is offered as Mobile App with a licensing model. Localization in different languages is quite simple, providing the means for global expansion (Greek and English have already been implemented). Therefore, c is fully scalable both in Greece and in foreign markets.

Traction & achievements

Our company, although new, is becoming a point of reference in the field of religious tourism. The idea of “ΥΜΝΩΔΟΣ” started just 4 years ago, and the implementation of the solution is co-funded by a European and a National program of the Region of Central Macedonia until the end of 2025. The evaluations we have received to date are excellent. The dynamics in the religious tourism market and the interest from its stakeholders are great. Also, the advantage of connecting with the faithful or religious tourists cannot be ignored when the downloads of the application will increase in large numbers. We believe that we will soon reach a point where the benefits of the spin-off status, such as attracting potential investors, increasing brand awareness, participating in international events, etc., will be needed to achieve the required levels of growth.

We are a team of 3 professionals in the fields of computer engineering, UI/UX. sales, finance, marketing and chanting expert. Our focus is to expand our team and enhance all vital functions within our team: Product, Sales, Marketing, Customer Experience, and Finance. We believe our product - ΥΜΝΩΔΟΣ - is unique in its offering, being a high-quality turnkey solution for our target market segments. Greece is our focus market at this stage, and we strive to enhance our team to cover the needs of this market as we will be growing our footprint. Funding Needs

Currently we are self-funded and try to be profitable enough to expand our team and business. We expect to need further funding to boost sales and marketing, and also to enhance our team with new members, as we will try to intensify our sales efforts within 2025.
