It has a leading know-how in aeroponics, the future cultivation technique for land and space crops over the next decades. Aeroponics Hellas P.C. is committed to continuously meeting the growing food needs, offering innovative solutions for future agriculture, under any environmental conditions, including arid and semi-arid areas and areas with damaged and degraded soils and poor water quality. We developed the «Automated Aeroponic Plant Growing System» based on Greek Patent Knowledge, with the ability to overcome environmental difficulties such as extreme temperatures and limited water resources. It is adapted to Greek-Mediterranean climate conditions and extreme arid or semiarid environments. Our low cost Aeroponic growing system is fully automated, with remote management and control via internet (IOT). It offers faster harvest cycles and higher yields with limiting environmental impact. It produces year-round healthy vegetables and fruits of exceptional organoleptic quality and taste with minimal environmental footprint. We have also developed cutting edge expertise in advanced Hydroponic Systems.

Solution & Product

Our Aeroponics technology uses up to 96% less water than conventional farms, and 60% less than hydroponics, which is especially critical for crops growing in drought-stricken regions. Our greenhouse growing system is uniquely designed to operate under full sunlight taking advantage for the photosynthesis of plants. Natural full sunlight increases productivity and maximizes yields, significantly reducing energy and production costs. We offer integrated solutions in design build and operation of greenhouse aeroponic farms (producing tomatoes, cucumbers and many other leafy vegs), town farms or vertical farms and plant cloning. Aeroponics Hellas P.C. offers know-how and innovative applications for: The development and operation of Aeroponics Plant Cultivation business units in greenhouses or in cities (City Farms, vertical Farms, visitable farms, etc.). The development and operation of Aeroponics plant production units under extreme arid or semiarid lands. “Automated Aeroponic Plant Growing System”, is the Greek Patented System owned by Aeroponics Hellas P.C., (Industrial Greek Property Organization- Ο.Β.Ι.-, Patent Number: 1008102). Our system has the ability to control and adjust at any given value the root zone temperature, offering ideal root growth conditions. It is uniquely designed to operate under full sunlight, significantly reducing energy and production costs, thus minimizing the environmental footprint. Nowadays, many aeroponic companies operate mainly as urban vertical farms with high operating costs, and limited capability for massive production. Indoor aeroponic farming has the disadvantage that of the much lower intensity of Led light in comparison with solar radiation, thus decreasing total yields. The company's current operational model focuses on delivering know-how solutions in Aeroponics and Hydroponics (B2B). Additionally, Aeroponics Hellas is considering to explore the feasibility of a B2C initiative through a new entity, ensuring no competition with its B2B clients.“B2B” model consists: transfer of Know-how in Aeroponics and Hydroponics, design and Development of Aeroponic Plant Units especially for extreme arid or semiarid conditions and R&D (innovation testbed, experimental trials) with participation in EU and Domestic Research Programs. “B2C” model consists: Construction and Operation of Aeroponics units (Home Systems, decoration Systems).

Private Projects: Aeroponics Hellas P.C.: The prototype Aeroponics Hellas pilot unit with the «Automated Aeroponic Plant Growing System», a greenhouse 1500 m2 located in Lechena Ilias, Greece, will start operating in this month. Innovative vertical hydroponic strawberry cultivation farm: (10,304m2) for the Greek company “KALLIERGIES HYDROPONIAS KALAVRYTON O.E.”, located in Kalavryta, Greece, with Aeroponics Hellas P.C. know-how. Mr. Nickolaos Leoleis, co-founder and administrator of Aeroponics Hellas P.C., experienced in metal structures and greenhouse installations. Mr. Charilaos Stefanou, is co-founder of Aeroponics Hellas P.C., experienced in Aeroponics, Hydroponics and Aquaponics Systems. Dr. Georgios Salahas is the Scientific Advisor of Aeroponics Hellas P.C., Professor at the University of Patras and Inventor of the "Automated Aeroponic Plant Growing System". Our low-cost Greek Aeroponic farming Technique overcomes the drawbacks of the already existing technologies. It has the ability to operate under full sunlight, offering maximum yields. In addition, the roots grow into fully insulated growing chambers or trays, with fully controlled root environment temperature (also ideal for hot semiarid or arid lands). The company's current operational model focuses on delivering know-how solutions in Aeroponics and Hydroponics (B2B). Additionally, Aeroponics Hellas is considering to explore the feasibility of a B2C initiative through a new entity, ensuring no competition with its B2B clients.Revenue assumptions on “B2B” model includes: Low-cost/ High-cost Greenhouse construction, Aeroponic/Hydroponic system implementation, Transfer of Know-how/ Staff training/ Scientific support services and Research programs. Funding Needs

The funding needs of our company for the next 12 months include: A capital raise of ~ 0.2 mn. to support the completion and further optimization of the pilot Farm (~ € 50.000) and the Pilot Farm Variable Costs & Cultivation Costs (~ € 60.000). We also need to recruit and hire new employees to bolster the workforce and operational capabilities (~ € 75.000) and run promotional activities to market and introduce the Company’s services to a wider audience, aiming to attract more clients (~ € 15.000). Our company’s operating costs for this period (~ € 10.000). The funding needs of our company for the next 1-2 years include: A capital raise of ~ 0.7 mn. to support the Construction of a new 10.000 m2 greenhouse facility in order to begin our own production and accommodate the growing demand for agricultural products (~€ 600.000). We also need to recruit and hire new employees to bolster the workforce and operational capabilities (~ € 75.000).
