Aigle Health, founded in 2023, is a med-tech startup that develops and deploys artificial intelligence (AI)-based clinical and operational support systems. Aigle Advantage is an AI-powered, evidence-based, custom-tailored clinical and operational decision support platform that offers a user-friendly and intuitive way to deploy state-of-the-art AI tools in the workflow, thus enabling transition from business as usual to true Learning Health Systems. It features responsive design principles that minimize user errors in inputting data or misinterpreting results including batch processing, intuitive data visualizations and algorithmic performance.

A large portfolio of in-house AI models has already been developed and validated, which can be readily adapted and deployed to Aigle Health’s customers. In addition, the successful deployment of algorithms that are custom-tailored to individual customer needs and local patient populations is at the center of our philosophy. Since currently there is no other healthcare AI (in point-of-care applications) company in the region, Aigle Health is first-to-market in a space that is expected to experience explosive growth in the coming years.

Team & Why Us

Our team has more than 30 years of combined experience in the space, developing and deploying AI models in healthcare at some of the biggest healthcare systems in North America, publishing at top-tier scientific journals, and serving these technologies to hundreds of thousands of patients. While several solutions that integrate AI in the clinical decision-making process currently exist, none have integrated a fully automated monitoring and updating framework, which is necessary due to challenges with changing patient characteristics, workflows and interoperability between different EHR systems. These reductions in predictive performance of models are commonly observed and can render them less useful, misleading, or even harmful when clinical decisions are based on biased predictions, emphasizing the need to detect and correct these performance drifts. This is the optimal time to bring our technology to the market. Given that digital transformation and adoption of AI solutions has been slower in Southeast Europe, the Balkans, and CIS Countries compared to other parts of the world, these regions have not yet offered the fertile ground for competition in the healthcare AI space. Thus, they represent a big opportunity for first-to-market penetration now that digitization is taking place.
