Our vision is a world where public spaces are safe. Mass shootings threaten the bare essentials of social interaction. Parents should only think of their kids’ education when dropping them off at school, students should only think about new horizons and socialization when going to college, a couple should only think about enjoying their favorite band when attending their concert. Existing solutions to secure public spaces require streamlining at procedures at large invasive. Angely sets out to market a solution tracks concealed weapons at a distance, allowing free traffic flow by fusing space-derived magnetics tech and neural-network processed image data.

Solution & Product

Angely sets out to market a solution tracks concealed weapons at a distance, allowing free traffic flow by fusing space-derived magnetics tech and neural-network processed image data. The solution is installed at a public space with heavy traffic. People are freely walking around it. The solution identifies potential weapon carriers present in the scene (up to a radius of some meters from the device) and informs the operator of the potential threat in order to be screened via a notification in his smartphone that contains both his coordinates and his face. This is achieved by measuring the magnetic field of the scene and pairing it with data from visual range cameras relevant to the crowd's position and movement around the solution. Thus the place is secured without any interference with the traffic flow while respecting health and privacy we employ only passive methods (no active emissions).

Innovation & Scalability

The core components of the technology are cutting-edge magnetic measurement and modelling system and methods as well as neural networks for image processing. The innovation lies in the product outcome: there are no solutions currently capable of allowing free flow while not employing any active methods. This makes possible the security of spaces that never had the option before such as public squares, metro stations and so on.

Traction & achievements

We were incorporated in December 2022 and have just started our incubation in ESA-BIC Greece as the 10th incubatee overall.

Team & Why Us

The team consists of experts, armed with complementary expertise in both tech and business domains. We are the original developers of the space magnetics tech that forms the core of the system and allows the unparalleled measurement capabilities needed for this task. We intend to first validate the technology here in Greece and assess its performance in critical use case scenarios, in order to be able to market it globally. We have established contacts in critical markets such as the US in order to be ready to pursue installations there when ready.

Funding Needs

We have partially covered our RnD expenses until the MVP. We are asking for 300k for more extensive and faster development and testing of pilot installations. Upon operational validation of the technology we are asking for 850k to market the solution and attempt entry into the US markets.
