About

AMTV turns the manufacturing factories of yesterday into connected manufacturing infrastructure. By upgrading bricks-and-mortar into smart, connected platforms, AMTV lays the groundwork for the industry’s manufacturing needs. Automated Manufacturing Ventures aims to build a series of highly automated precision parts factories across Greece and Southern Eastern Europe. Our potential customers, aerospace & defense companies, will use their designs for rocket parts, jet parts, drone parts, and satellite parts, and we will manufacture them on their behalf. For the clients, our highly automated approach to precision manufacturing will create value in three ways: Cheaper parts. We aim to produce parts 30% more efficiently than smaller, traditional precision machining shops. This will allow clients to build more. Faster turnaround. We aim to produce parts 5x faster than smaller, traditional precision machining shops. This will allow clients to build faster. Sustainable parts. We aim to produce high-quality parts in a sustainable manner, more specifically we aim to reduce human errors by 60% and reduce waste by 25% and improve the working environment of workers by 35% (safer, stress-free, and enjoyable for workers)

Solution & Product

We aim to achieve these efficiency gains by leveraging software to automate and optimize things like production scheduling, resource management, and CAM/CMM programming. Unlike a traditional shop where highly skilled machinists track things manually and operate individually, our proprietary software platform will break down, track, and orchestrate different processes (quotation prep, material handling, machining, QA, etc.) optimally, much like a computer’s operating system. Also, while most of the actual machining will be still done by humans, the operating system will abstract and automate much of the process-related overhead away. As a result, we will focus on behaving more like an assembly line than a watch-making shop: projects will move more efficiently, and it will be easier to train and add new inexperienced personnel to our organization.

Innovation & Scalability

We will consolidate existing demand by shipping parts cheaper and faster than competitors. We will accomplish this by leveraging software to streamline both process coordination and process execution. Traction & achievements

In the last ten months, our team has managed to create a high-level architecture of the operating system that will guide our factories. In the coming months, we will be developing the first modules of the system and we plan to assemble a test R&D line for testing it into real products from clients in aerospace & defense. Team & Why Us

The density of software talent that we need to attract, namely the sorts of experts required to transform manufacturing expertise into production software, is very crucial. We have been able to assemble a core team of top-notch engineers and data scientists in order to fulfill our mission. Consider the following LinkedIn profiles of members of our team: Mike Delis Foivos Psarommatis Victor Azamfirei Traditional manufacturing organizations simply cannot attract and keep the same type of software/hardware expertise to work alongside their trained machinists, even if they wanted to. We examined the teams of the incumbents above and discovered that none had the density or diversity of exceptional people. Long term, this means we will be able to iterate on and capitalize on automation possibilities far faster than our competitors, who will have to rely on contractors and third-party solutions.
