About

Butler is a B2B2C tech company transforming the way hospitality and retail businesses operate and interact with their customers. We provide a fully integrated digital ecosystem that enables HO.RE.CA. businesses to manage operations, optimize efficiency, and deliver exceptional service through a cloud-native platform that includes POS, inventory, e-invoicing, and performance analytics. Our solution is designed specifically for business owners—offering a fast, intuitive, and cost-effective way to control all day-to-day processes, from order management to customer service. With Butler, teams gain the clarity and tools to scale smarter, reduce friction, and focus on what drives growth. Butler also addresses the consumer experience through its B2C mobile app, which redefines how people discover, navigate, and interact with local businesses. Consumers can explore venues, browse live menus, check availability, place orders, and pay directly from their phone—creating a seamless and personalized experience that drives engagement and retention. By owning both the operational layer and the consumer transaction layer, Butler creates a flywheel that a standalone POS or a listing platform cannot replicate: more merchants make the consumer app more useful, and more consumers create more value for merchants. We don't just digitize businesses — we connect them to a new generation of tech-savvy consumers, positioning Butler as the infrastructure layer for hospitality.

Solution & Product

Butler is an all-in-one B2B2C digital solution built to streamline operations for businesses and enhance customer engagement. It consists of two core products: Butler POS (B2B) A cloud-based point-of-sale system designed for HO.RE.CA. businesses. It enables staff and order management, real-time inventory tracking, automated invoicing, and daily performance analytics. It replaces outdated, fragmented systems with a centralized, intuitive platform that’s accessible from any device. It also integrates with delivery platforms like Wolt and e-food, enabling businesses to manage all operations in one place with minimal setup. Butler App (B2C) A mobile application that redefines the way consumers interact with local businesses. Users discover venues, browse real-time menus, check availability, place and prepay orders, and receive personalized offers. It supports both on-premise and remote ordering across restaurants, cafés, hotels, beach bars and more, and runs as an Instant App that requires no download. Together, the POS and the app form a single ecosystem: every order channel synchronizes into one backend, giving merchants real-time operational visibility while giving consumers a faster, smarter, more personalized way to order and engage. Because Butler owns both the operational and the consumer transaction layers, it captures behavioral and transaction data across the full hospitality journey — the foundation for increasingly personalized discovery, smarter recommendations, a

Innovation & Scalability

Butler innovates by unifying business operations and customer engagement into a single, cloud-native platform—something no other solution in the HO.RE.CA. market currently achieves at this depth. While most competitors offer either POS systems or ordering apps in isolation, Butler offers a fully connected B2B2C ecosystem that integrates POS, inventory, e-invoicing, digital menus, mobile ordering, loyalty, and real-time analytics. Our product experience is intuitive, modern, and designed with both business operators and consumers in mind. Key innovations include: • Real-time menu and availability syncing between kitchen and customer app • QR-based consumer engagement that doesn’t require app downloads • AI-assisted features for personalized offers and smart ordering • No hardware dependency—runs on any device • A unique bridge between front-end experience and back-office intelligence Butler is built for rapid deployment - venues go live within days, with no costly infrastructure or complex training, and the cloud architecture supports both independent venues and multi-location franchise networks. Entering a new market requires minimal localization, mainly language support and regional payment integration. With product-market fit already proven in Greece and a live international presence in Ireland, Butler is positioned to scale across Europe.

Traction & achievements

Butler serves 550+ paying businesses (930+ including freemium users) across Greece, Cyprus and Ireland, from independent cafés to large venues and franchise chains. Flagship customers include Regency Casinos (Thessaloniki & Mont Parnes) - across restaurants, bars and VIP lounges - Allwyn Arena, Gazarte, and the nationwide BubbleTale franchise. Butler closed 2025 with approximately €383K in revenue. To date, more than 19,200,000 orders have been placed through the platform, and Butler's digital menus have generated over 400,000 QR scans - clear signals of strong adoption on both the business and consumer sides. In 2025, Butler processed significant card-present transaction volume through its payments layer, built on a strategic partnership with Viva.com. With proven product-market fit in Greece and a live presence in Ireland, Butler is well-positioned for continued European expansion as the connected infrastructure layer for hospitality. The founding team was recognised to the Forbes 30 Under 30 Greece 2026 list, and Butler is backed by Genesis Ventures and InstaShop founder John Tsioris (InstaShop acquired for $360M).

Team & Why Us

Butler's strength lies in a founding team that combines deep technical expertise with first-hand hospitality and commercial experience - four founders who started the company in 2020 and have grown it organically to a team of 15. • Konstantinos Kayioulis (CEO): Proven leadership in business strategy and growth execution. • Eleftherios Touloumtzidis (CTO): Extensive experience in developing scalable, robust technology infrastructures. • Stavros Vasos (COO): Operational expertise, ensuring smooth execution and expansion strategies. • Stavrialena Gontzou (CMO): Strategic marketing leader, driving brand positioning and market penetration. Why us: we don't just understand the technology, we understand the industry. That combination is why Butler has reached its depth of product and customer trust, from small cafés to national chains. Our growth strategy rests on four pillars: deepening penetration in our core market through direct sales and a structured reseller network; accelerating the B2C app to compound merchant value; expanding into selected European markets with a capital-efficient, reseller-led model; and growing payments and consumer monetization to expand revenue per merchant over time.

Funding Needs

Butler is already live, revenue-generating, and processing significant transaction volume daily - this phase is about scaling a proven model, not building one. Having proven the model in Greece with a lean team, we are now raising a €2M Seed round for a 24-month runway to run all three growth engines in parallel: scaling our core Greek sales engine, launching new European markets, and accelerating the B2C layer that compounds acquisition efficiency over time. The capital is allocated across: ~50% — Team: hiring across sales, development, and customer success. ~32% — Operations & infrastructure: OPEX scaling and customer success tooling. ~16% — Sales & marketing: scaling the self-serve channel and funding launches in key European cities. ~2% — R&D: payments, consumer loyalty, and hardware. Target output by Q4 2027: 4,000 paying venues across six countries, €800K MRR, and 500K monthly B2C active users. Butler closed a €160,000 pre-seed round in November 2024, led by Genesis Ventures with participation from angel investor John Tsioris (exited founder of InstaShop, acquired for $360M). Genesis Ventures remains an active investor and board participant.
