Team & Why Us

Coinbux journey began with Panos, the visionary behind the company. Panos launched his first startup at the age of 15 and has since built a diverse background in both commercial and technical roles. After starting his career at efood, one of Greece's top scale-ups, he went on to work for almost three years at Skroutz, another highly successful Greek company. His blend of commercial insight and technical expertise laid the foundation for the creation of Coinbux. Giannis, who co-founded his first startup with Panos at the age of 21, brings a wealth of experience in operations and commercial management. He spent 4.5 years at efood before taking on a leadership role at JD, Europe’s largest retailer, where he managed its commercial activities in the ecommerce markets of Greece and Cyprus. Giannis' expertise in scaling businesses and driving commercial success has been crucial to Coinbux’s rapid growth. Nikos, the third co-founder, is the technical mastermind behind Coinbux. He co-founded Stoferno at age 23, securing funding from Lambda Development. Later, he worked at IBM as part of the DevOps unit. With his strong technical background, Nikos has developed all of Coinbux’s products, ensuring they are cutting-edge and scalable. We are also backed by an experienced advisor, George Katiniotis, who spent 10 years as Managing Director at Eurobank BS. George has held top executive roles in companies like Speedex and is an active figure in the startup community.

Funding Needs

Coinbux has secured its first pre-seed funding round of €320K, led by Genesis Ventures. This investment marks a crucial milestone in our growth journey, providing us with the resources needed to fuel expansion over the next 18 months. The primary focus of this round is to scale our team, growing from three co-founders to a dedicated team of six. This expansion will enable us to accelerate product development and enhance our service delivery as we establish a stronger presence in both Greece and Cyprus. In addition to team growth, a significant portion of the funding will be directed towards brand awareness and marketing efforts.
