Solution & Product
Componous develops and manufactures in-house optical fiber Bragg grating and microstructured sensors interrogators. Componous is also devoloping and manufacturing custom made optical fiber sesnors in standard and non standard optical fibers, while it has developed unique, patended techniques for emdendment in composite materials.

Componous has industrialized numerous solutions in frontline production, resulting in a cost-effective method for integrating optical fiber sensors into actual products. The company has patented two of its innovative solutions and has numerous publications in scientific journals, thereby building a robust intellectual property portfolio. Due to the affordability of our solutions, demand for our devices is steadily increasing, necessitating an expansion of our production capabilities.
Traction & achievements
Componous' solution has already found traction in drones for structural health monitoring, in sailing masts for 3D shape reconstruction and in battery monitoring systems for submarines in defence industry.
