AthletesWeR is creating communities of Athletes for every sporting event! Targeted CUSTOMIZED Calendar and Marketplace of Sports events with social community function for each event! An intelligent digital assistant for athletes in mass sports, that will provide simplicity and convenience to athletes and create a digital social community. Every Athlete will be able to find one-click races and events for his sport, and communicate with other athletes in the events chatrooms with our event-centric chat feature. Every Athlete is able to create his own event, and participate in virtual events created by organizers making every training session to virtual race participation!

Innovation & Scalability

Our UVPs are: The event-centric approach with automated information for the user when a new event is in the platform, or there are changes to the event (i.e date changes), and that the calendar is customized to the athletes' sport. -Our chatrooms which are created when an athlete bookmarks an event, provide a way to communicate with other athletes that are participating in this event! - When athletes choose a sport, every event created in this sport sends a push notification to the athlete. That way the organizers know that EVERY athlete in this sport will be informed about their event, with no advertising necessary! -For the first time all athletes can create their own meetups with date, hour, starting point and ending point on the map, for training sessions with other athletes! -In one platform an athlete can have all the information without searching. Can communicate with other athl -Scalability will come from the synergies with big sports organizers all over the world, as they need to promote their events to Athletes. AthletesWeR is not targeting only running events but also Triathlon, Biking, swimming, and other mass sports! Our automated notification feature to athletes of those sports is a game-changing approach for event organizers as every athlete in every country will be informed automatically when an event in his sport is created!

Traction & achievements

-Traction & achievements We have been developing both a mobile application and a web site for the past 12 months. As we had the funds available for the platform development we didn't have the need to participate to contests and accelerators. We soft-launched the mobile app with the name Matchracers in android for Beta testing in January 2023 and in March 2023 the soft launch took place and at the time we have more than 2000 users !!! We know all organizers in Greece , but also in other countries, as the Founder is ranked first in Greece in Triathlon, and has participated in the world championship and IronMan events all over the world!

Team & Why Us

-The team is experienced in mobile application development as one of the co-founders has been the winner of Envolve, Has represented the Greek startup ecosystem in CES Las Vegas, and has been the finalist at the European Tech Challenge in Barcelona for digital sports marketing ! The Founder is a champion in Triathlon in Greece and has in his portfolio a group of companies! His love and passion for mass sports is the reason for developing this project. A documentary has been produced for his achievements in Triathlon and his participation in Ironman events all over the world! Based on our detailed and quantified business plan, we expect exponential user growth as we will be the place to go to find out about sports events! We have invested 60.000 euros till now. Available funding is 200.000 euros and we are raising a Seed round of another 200.000 euros from angel investors!
