elvoX automotive | mobility | technology is a startup in the mobility world, specifically automotive technology. elvoX develops & manufactures optimal value engineered, budget priced, light commercial electric 4-wheeler mini-van transporters (L7eCU) focusing on mid/last mile transportation. Desirable for urban areas, inner cities, islands. For couriers, supermarkets, deliveries, micro-transports, handymen - where zero emissions, high availability, low operational costs are priority. Purpose engineered, budget priced commercial light, mini e-van for mid/last mile transports with state-of-the-art technologies integrated. Solution & Product

Our research & actual users interviews confirm: motorists are dissatisfied with existing e-LCVs, they don’t cover their needs: Batteries are over-specified, unnecessary costly equipment, cargo space is too small and they’re expensive in their TCO. All these limit the shift to more greener & sustainable, optimized & rewarding inner city logistics, considering also the upcoming stringent environmental regulations within urban areas & LEZs. The mid/ last-mile transportation (LMT) will be the largest commercial transport segment in the next 5-10 years & the less-than-150 km/day segment the largest sub-segment, but the vehicles used today to transport cargo don’t fit: they are over dimensioned, over engineered, over weight. LMT vehicles must be aligned to user expectations: right modern design & engineered with focus on purpose, preferences, needs. Environmentally friendly and smart urban mobility should aim for low carbon emissions & minimal spatial impact. elvoX is dedicated to revolutionizing urban mobility. elvoX vehicles fall under the EU L7eCU category (optimal vehicle size 3700mm x 1500mm x 2050mm (LxWxH) versus actual ICEs & e LCVs that have a width of 1850 to 2070mm. The versatility of elvoX vehicles and modularity, supports alignment to customer needs and makes them highly desirable for various applications. Each elvoX vehicle is projected to save > 3.5 tons of carbon emissions annually when compared to similar internal combustion engine (ICE) vans.

Traction & achievements

At present, elvoX is in the prototyping process as per automotive V process model: finalized the exterior design and engineering, interior & chassis skateboard platform which is at advanced stage of engineering, ongoing internal lab testing, components & vehicle simulations, preparing for external verification / accredited lab & live trials. Target: showcase the rolling vehicle skateboard as next (Q1/Q2 25) and the prototypes afterwards (Q3 25). In other words: - Exterior / Interior Design finalization phase - Concluding the skateboard design/engineering - E/E (BAT/BMS,ECU/VCU, Motors, etc.) architecture and systems integration, for the PO prototype - Progressing to the respective simulations and engineering alignments to have a rolling-chassis skateboard ready by mid Q4/24to initiate on-street testing. - Working on the wooden/clay 1:1 vehicle models, to finetune ergonomics, etc. so to be able to - co-operate with final users (drivers of vehicles used for couriers, supermarkets, airport, and others) to enhance the real life needs = technical detail specifications. - Arranging live workshops/presence of the potential clients in our premises It is very important for elvoX that the vehicles are fully aligned to the real needs of the users (=driver, fleet manager, maintenance & operational manager, etc.). Therefore we talk and work hand-in-hand with all of them. Additionally we are with client discussions to sign Letter-of-Intend-to-Purchase as soon as prototypes are ready

elvoX will continue to evolve and maintain its competitive advantage, fend off competition and maintain profitability, and continue to work on its e-sLCV product roadmap by: initially developing last and mid mile vehicles for cargo, community and off-road; Our growth strategy includes also the development of autonomous cargo and passenger transport within urban areas. As soon as regulations are established, elvoX will be ready to deliver the first autonomous vehicles. elvoX is co-founded by Mr. Evangelos Lianos and Dr. Anil Khurana - with several decades of experience working for or advising technology/auto/engineering/manufacturing organizations and running large and small businesses. elvoX is the result of their expertise and wealth of relevant experiences in design, operations & manufacturing, marketing, sales and finance. The core team includes 12 members and it will be expanded during 2024. Collectively, this team brings vast experience spanning design, manufacturing, supply chain, sales and technology within the automotive, mobility, and parts production industries. They have held roles in vehicle design, dynamics, composite materials, motors, batteries, VSS, manufacturing. Team & Advisory Board come from renowned OEMs, suppliers, distributors and automotive sector disruptors such as Ford, GM, McLaren, Mercedes, Daimler, Stellantis, DAF, Audi, Volkswagen, BMW,Rolls Royce, Bosch, Denso, Arrival, Tevva, Polestar and FCA Bank, among others.
