Emergency Response Profile (ERpro) is a digital solution which enables life-saving data unification and the sharing of medical information, location and pertinent personal data from any connected device to first responders, healthcare professionals and other officials in emergency situations. ERpro practically assists in emergency response systems and procedures enabling faster, better-prepared and informed emergency response. By transforming data into rescue and clinical knowledge results in improved clinical decision making and high-quality patient-care enabled by the adoption of data science algorithms and Machine Learning/AI technologies. The solution relies on the convergence of data science algorithms and big data analytics, insured data privacy and data ownership with blockchain, all empowered by AI. Ensuring interoperability (compatibility with sensors and other mobile or non-mobile devices) and easy integration with existing providers and applications, will enable faster and easier user adoption. Every second counts in an emergency and ERpro aims to protect people showing a commitment in their health and safety by helping first responders get the data they need to save more lives.

Innovation & Scalability

The solution brings mobility and effectiveness to emergency services and procedures. It aims to modernize the emergency services in Greece and Balkans and provide valuable assistance especially in times of crisis (natural disasters, COVID-19 crisis and more). It provides instant, accurate and reliable (caller) emergency location identification through a mobile app, IoT, sensors or other emergency systems using device-based hybrid location (Apple’s Hybridized Emergency Locationu0002HELO and Android’s Emergency Location System-ELS). In addition, it provides intelligent, real-time data and awareness of the relevant factors in an evolving situation. All data is available to Public Safety Answering Points (PSAPs) in a fast, secure and frequent way putting privacy, security and safety first, integrating directly with existing software in many emergency centers. By using ERpro service, people have a protective layer by disclosing their most important medical detail in case of emergency especially when in shock or unable to speak, conveying the necessary information that could save their lives. Through our mobile application, a wearable device or a home sensor they can set off a trigger and our integration platform communicate all available information to emergency services (112,166,100). ERpro practically assists in emergency response systems and procedures enabling faster, better-prepared and informed emergency response transforming data into clinical knowledge.

Traction & achievements

We are under negotiations with the biggest private medical Group in Greece in order to run our first MVP in private healthcare sector. We have requested access in one of their emergency care facilities in order to validate business and operational needs and gather all appropriate information. Unfortunately, due to the extended Covid-19 crisis and critical conditions of the healthcare system, it is not possible, for the moment, to access any hospital infrastructure. We are also under discussions with a major Greek Insurance company in order to provide a mobile product and collaboration between insurance and its healthcare partners. We are in the process of developing our new mobile app using Flutter and starting our first integration with IoT devices. MVP will start on August 21 under the condition we have access to Emergency facilities and cooperation with doctors, first responders and operational staff, of private medical group.By the end of August ’21 we will have completed our blockchain architecture design using external partners from Blockchain council authoritative group of experts.

There is extensive knowledge and experience in systems integrations,from SAP to numerous ERP/CRM and custom business applications, but also passion with new, state of the art innovative technologies. We have combined experience as a team of professionals that addresses the following areas: cybersecurity, software development (frond-end and back-end), systems architecture and cloud solutions, business analysis and operations.

Funding Needs

The main cost considers human resources and Cloud Infrastructure (technology costs). It is important to assure full time participation of experienced human resources essential for the successful implementation of the project. The most important roles to be covered are the following: Senior Data Scientist (Big Data), Security - blockchain specialist, Machine Learning/AI expert, Marketing Specialist / social media management, Sales Executive, Head of Product (B2C). An initial investment cost plan in human resources is projected to reach 450.000euros in the next 18 months. Technology costs could possible reach 160.000 euros as well. Our analysis indicates that after the initial costs for developing the application and the distributed ledger platform, there is adding revenue at an exponential rate. Low operating overhead means fewer resources or infrastructure to grow rapidly.
