About

Tasky is a digital platform that connects individuals and businesses with reliable, vetted freelancers for a wide range of everyday services — both on-site (e.g., cleaning, repairs, assembly) and online (e.g., design, marketing, content creation). It simplifies the way people find help and how freelancers find work, offering a transparent, efficient, and legally-compliant solution tailored to the Greek market. Tasky bridges the gap between supply and demand in the service economy, acting as a dynamic, centralized marketplace where users can post a task, receive custom quotes, compare reviews and profiles, and ultimately hire a trusted professional. On the other side, freelancers (called taskers) gain visibility, access to consistent work, and a framework to operate legally — even without owning a formal business.

Solution & Product

Our solution: For Clients: Simple Task Creation: Users post a task by selecting a date, category, and filling out a short form. Quotes System: Taskers reply with tailored offers, enabling a competitive pricing environment. Review-Based Selection: Clients evaluate taskers based on profiles, ratings, and past work. Transparent Pricing: Clear quotes prevent hidden charges or post-service surprises. Notifications & Tracking: Both sides receive SMS/email updates throughout the process. For Freelancers: Legal Work Made Simple: Tasky automates the issuance of Ergosimo, the only legal way to work in Greece as a freelancer without a business setup. No Upfront Costs or Subscriptions: Taskers only pay a commission when a task is successfully completed. Flexible Scheduling: Taskers choose when to work and which jobs to accept. Comprehensive Profiles: They can showcase their skills, experience, portfolio, and client reviews. Consistent Opportunity: Access to daily job posts across various service categories.

Innovation & Scalability

Tasky combines legal, technological, and business model innovation to reshape the Greek freelance economy. Through the automated issuance of Ergosimo, the platform allows freelancers to work legally without establishing a business entity—solving a key pain point in the market. Tasky also introduces a dynamic quote-based system, enabling flexible, transparent pricing and more control for both clients and taskers. The platform supports both digital and on-site services, making it a hybrid solution in a fragmented landscape dominated by single-category competitors. Built as a fully digital, cloud-based system, Tasky is designed for scalability. Its modular structure enables fast geographic expansion and category diversification without operational bottlenecks. In just six months, over 800 clients and 570 taskers joined the platform, validating demand. Our strategy includes expansion into Thessaloniki, Patras, and Crete, as well as launching B2B offerings and loyalty features. With growing adoption, repeat usage, and low acquisition costs, Tasky is positioned to scale nationally and, in the long term, into other Southern European markets with similar regulatory and economic conditions.

Traction & achievements

User Growth: Over 800 clients and 570 fully onboarded taskers have registered on the platform, completing full profiles and becoming eligible to transact. These numbers confirm strong early adoption on both sides of the marketplace. High Satisfaction & Retention Potential: Taskers maintain an average platform rating of 4.9/5, reflecting both quality control and positive customer experiences. Early behavior signals high repeat usage potential, particularly in digital categories such as graphic design, content, and social media management. Accelerator Admission: Tasky was accepted into the egg – enter•grow•go accelerator by Eurobank, after successfully passing three evaluation rounds and being selected among the top 31 startups out of 121 applicants. This milestone offers access to a high-value entrepreneurial network, mentorship, and strategic resources to support scaling. Legal Innovation: Tasky has implemented automated functionality for issuing the Greek labor ticket (Ergosimo)—allowing freelancers to work legally without setting up a formal business. This makes Tasky one of the few platforms in Greece offering compliant freelance services within a digital framework.

Funding Needs

Our primary funding objectives include: Technology development: Enhancing the core platform infrastructure, expanding automation features, and improving scalability, performance, and mobile optimization. Talent acquisition: Onboarding a technical co-founder (CTO) and expanding our development and support teams to ensure reliable and continuous service improvement. Marketing and growth: Implementing targeted user acquisition campaigns (digital, local partnerships, and referral programs) to increase both tasker and client registrations across major Greek cities. Geographic expansion: Launching in new regions including Thessaloniki, Patras, and Crete, where early indicators show high demand. Business development: Activating B2B sales, launching pilot partnerships with SMEs and property managers, and developing subscription models and loyalty programs. We aim to raise €150,000 – €200,000, which will provide the necessary runway to scale operations over the next 12–18 months, reach 20,000+ users, and achieve sustainable transaction volume across both digital and on-site service categories. This funding round will position Tasky for strong follow-on investment and prepare the foundation for regional expansion across Europe.
