OptiPLANT4ALL is a cloud-based system that empowers professional and non-professional data scientists to build high-quality predictive models for timely and optimised maintenance of industrial machinery. OptiPLANT4ALL is a ground-breaking ML platform that automates predictive maintenance operations in industrial plants. Adopting the novel paradigm of Automated Machine Learning (AutoML), the ultimate objective of OptiPLANT4ALL is to help manufacturing SMEs with restricted resources and limited programming skills (with professional and non-professional data scientists) to build their own workflows tailored to their needs by removing unnecessary complexity.

Innovation & Scalability

Is the only AutoML solution that works over Tabular data. Other solutions are always based on generic purpose algorithms that cannot be easily customised to the needs of an industry and none of them support the use of Tabular Data which is normally the case for data coming from machineries. As a cloud-based SaaS solution, OptiPLANT4ALL is scalable and can be easily replicated to serve multiple clients at the same time. The Docker-based micro-services approach along with Kubernetes orchestration also ensures the systemic scalability of the platform. The system is also easily replicable to other domains that call for simplified orchestration of ML tasks such as energy management for energy-intensive industries and inventory control and management for manufacturing industries. Our go to market strategy is taking advantage of our strengths, building upon direct strategic partnerships with existing client industries.

Traction & achievements

Neuron AI owns the IP rights of the OptiPLANT4ALL platform. The company has received funding for OptiPLANT4ALL from: 1. KITT4SME cascade funding Open Call (KITT4SME is an EU-funded project which provides the IT-infrastructure and core AI-based software modules to support the production by SMEs and mid-caps from the manufacturing world. This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement № 952119). 2. EIT Manufacturing EVO-R Call 2023 Call (The EIT Manufacturing RIS Call EVO-R supports activities undertaking innovative small-scale manufacturing solutions from the demonstration stage (TRL 7) through to market uptake (TRL 8-9)). 3. EIT Manufacturing RIS Inclusiveness Call (RIS Inclusiveness is an activity to attract, select and support entities coming from EIT RIS countries towards developing innovative solutions to make the work in the manufacturing industry more inclusive for individuals with disabilities.

Team & Why Us

M. Loukeris (M - CTO) has a BSc in Computer Engineer and holds a master’s degree in Telecommunication Network Management and Economics. He has 15 years of experience in the implementation of large-scale technological products and extensive development experience in a wide range of AI applications. M. Athanasiou (F - Product Manager) has over 15 years of experience in overseeing complex tech projects. Holds a master’s degree in business administration. V. Papataxiarhis (M - Senior Developer) has a BSc in Informatics and an MSc (with Honors) in the area of "Advanced Information Systems" from the same department. He is a member of the Communication Networks Laboratory (CNL) of NKUA. P. Papadatos (M - Sales) has BSc in Electrical and Computer Engineer and a master’s in business administration. He has over ten years of experience in sales management and commercial exploitation of ML solutions including industrial applications. OptiPLANT4ALL is the only automated ML solution targeting directly the problem of predictive maintenance for manufacturing industries.

Funding Needs

NEURON is seeking € 200.000 of investment in a revenue sharing agreement without equity to cover the costs of finalization the platform development, marketing, technology infrastructure, and R&D over the next 10 months. That investment will enable us to support 20-30 small-scale manufacturing companies among Greece and scaling up in selected EU countries. We offer a revenue-sharing model where investors will receive 8% of the quarterly revenues generated from transactions on the platform until they have tripled their initial investment in the next 30 months.
