Pi tech is an XR–AI startup based in Greece, developing immersive AR/VR platforms for education, healthcare, and sustainability. Since 2020, we’ve delivered national-level projects with public universities, Horizon Europe, and Erasmus+ funding. Our modular platforms — like HealthOn XR and SRI XR — combine gamified learning with AI assistants, helping users explore, simulate, and learn through interactive experiences.

Solution & Product

Pi tech solves the problem of passive learning by developing AI-powered immersive platforms using AR, VR, and MR. Our products serve students, universities, cultural institutions, and sustainability educators — enabling hands-on, gamified learning in real or virtual environments. Solutions include: HealthOn XR: XR lab platform for medical training SRI XR: Smart building training app with an AI assistant Pi CARD and AR Museum: Location-based cultural XR Each solution is modular, supports scenario-based learning, and can be deployed in both classroom and public space settings.

Innovation & Scalability

Pi tech innovates by combining immersive XR technology with AI assistants and real-time scenarios, turning static lessons into experiential learning. Our platforms are designed to scale across languages, sectors, and institutions. We use non-dilutive public funding (e.g., Horizon, Erasmus+) to build core tech, and then retain IP for further deployment and licensing — giving us an edge in sustainable scale. Our modular Unity pipeline allows rapid adaptation of content for health, sustainability, or cultural use-cases.

Traction & achievements

Pi tech has deployed 20+ XR labs across 4 major Greek universities through its flagship HealthOn XR platform, enabling immersive training in nursing, midwifery, and physiotherapy. Our SRI XR app, funded by the Horizon-backed SUSTAIN call, is live on the App Store and Google Play, integrating a multilingual AI assistant (“SUNDAY”) for interactive sustainability education. The AR Museum – 12 Gods of Olympus has drawn over 3,000 visitors and was awarded Best Practice by the Greek Ministry of Interior. We’ve also launched Pi CARD, a set of AR-enabled tourism experiences, and currently host 50+ international interns annually, contributing to our Unity-based development pipeline and expanding our reach in XR education.

Pi tech combines deep technical expertise with hands-on experience in EU-funded innovation. Our leadership team brings together: Petros Papadopoulos – CEO & CTO, leads XR/AI integration, Unity architecture, and platform design (HealthOn XR, SRI XR) Anestis Papadopoulos – Chief Strategy Officer, driving success in Horizon, Erasmus+, and Interreg funding ecosystems Kyriaki, Ioannis, and Alexandros Papadopoulos – covering project coordination, international relations, public-sector deployment, and XR content development Supported by a growing Unity development team and external collaborators, we operate as a lean, high-output startup. What sets us apart is our ability to secure funding, build impactful products, and retain full IP control — turning grants into scalable, ownable XR platforms. We’re not just building apps — we’re building a product portfolio, and we know how to bring it from idea to deployment at national scale.

Funding Needs

Pi tech is open to funding partnerships that support product scaling and international deployment — particularly of HealthOn XR as a national and EU-level training platform. We seek partners who can contribute not only capital but also strategic value: access to institutional networks, pilot sites, and edtech distribution. We prioritize non-dilutive funding (EU programs, innovation funds), but remain open to mission-aligned investors who support our vision of making immersive learning universally accessible.
