About

Floods are the front line of climate risk. Weather extremes are intensifying, and in Europe floods remain our most frequent and costly hazard - costing €7–10 billion annually in damages. For local authorities, every minute of delay in warning means lives lost and infrastructure destroyed. Yet floods are only one facet of a larger crisis - water security. Around 1.8 billion people live under significant flood risk, 4 billion face severe water scarcity each year, and rising sea levels are salinating freshwater reserves. By 2030, the economies of 100 countries will be classed as water-insecure. Europe continues to treat water management as an afterthought, even though it underpins climate resilience. Too much or too little, polluted or wasted ... it all stems from how we monitor and understand water. Sensor Dynamis IKE is a Greek environmental-intelligence company tackling this head-on. We combine smart sensors, cloud computing and AI to give communities foresight, not just data. Our mission is simple: to make every community water-resilient by helping them measure, understand and plan proactively: for disasters, for scarcity, and for daily sustainable living. Because resilience isn’t built on hardware or software; it’s built on trust in information.

Solution & Product

Our solution, ACRIS – the Advanced Climate Resilience and Integrated Water Resources Management System, transforms environmental data into foresight. It fuses live inputs from proprietary, low-power IoT sensors with GIS, satellite and meteorological layers to deliver predictive intelligence and early-warning decision tools for municipalities and utilities. Unlike legacy systems that simply measure, ACRIS interprets - detecting risk in real time and translating it into clear, actionable information. ACRIS covers the full early-warning chain: sensing, forecasting, connectivity and multi-channel alerts. When thresholds are exceeded, alerts are triggered automatically through multiple channels - ensuring that messages reach every citizen, even during network or power loss. Its modular hardware is CE-ready, submersible, energy-autonomous for six months and remotely configurable for rapid scale-up. Delivered through the Dynamis Platform, ACRIS forms the digital backbone of local climate resilience. One system supports multiple applications - floods, droughts, fires, aquaculture and reservoir management - enabling Europe’s first truly integrated water-intelligence infrastructure.

Innovation & Scalability

ACRIS represents a clear technological break from fragmented early-warning and monitoring systems. It combines five validated innovation pillars: 1️⃣ Resilient 5G-ready sensors: field-proven, low-power, remotely updated, situational awareness for unmatched accuracy. 2️⃣ Multi-hazard modular sensing: plug-and-play modules for flood, drought, fire, wind/rain and water-quality monitoring. 3️⃣ Predictive data fusion: proprietary AI algorithms merge multiple streams, including real-time datasets into one predictive “consciousness.” 4️⃣ Resilient connectivity: redundant RF and 6G-pathway backup with intelligent UPS to ensure continuity during outages. 5️⃣ Human-centred dissemination: inclusive multi-channel alerts, dashboards and installer training for fast replication. ACRIS is fully modular and scalable: each new sensor extends the intelligence of the network. Manufacturing is EU-centric, based on circular-economy principles and standardised components for EU-wide replication. The platform’s subscription model ensures sustainable revenue while allowing municipalities to adopt at low upfront cost with installation and maintenance included - taking the headache out of deployment. This fusion of hardware resilience, data intelligence and human accessibility positions Sensor Dynamis at the forefront of Europe’s digital-resilience market.

Traction & achievements

Sensor Dynamis was founded in 2024 and has already validated its technology at TRL 5-6 through municipal pilots in Ikaria, Greece. Our MVP sensors achieved > 95 % uptime under real conditions, transmitting continuous water-level data from island reservoirs. These pilots demonstrated the reliability of our telemetering hardware, confirmed municipal demand and established our first commercial relationships. We hold two draft patent applications and are advancing CE, RoHS and GDPR certification. Letters of Intent have been signed with several Greek municipalities as well as others in the EU region, with discussions afoot in other EU countries. Sensor Dynamis has submitted applicatoins for EU subsidies which, if awarded, will position us within the EU innovation ecosystem. Our work has been recognised for its alignment with the EU Green Deal, Floods Directive and Adaptation Strategy, and for pioneering locally manufactured, low-power sensing for climate adaptation. In short, we have proved feasibility, demand and impact and are now entering the growth and replication phase.

Team & Why Us

Sensor Dynamis brings together a highly capable, interdisciplinary team combining scientific excellence, engineering innovation, financial discipline, and social engagement ensuring that every stage of the project, from sensor design to community validation, is led by proven specialists with complementary expertise. Leadership (CEO, CSO and CFO) integrates more than 25 years of experience in EU-aligned business management, sensor research, and data analytics, ensuring sound governance and regulatory compliance. The technical core blends advanced sensor engineering, AI/ML modelling, and cloud integration, enabling rapid progression from TRL 5 to TRL 6. Financial and strategic o What distinguishes Sensor Dynamis is its balance of technical rigour and social mission. The company bridges cutting-edge IoT and data analytics with hands-on understanding of how municipalities operate. Every project is designed around local capacity, interoperability and citizen trust. We are technologists, but we build resilience - not gadgets. Our focus is impact: making early warning effective, affordable and human-centred and safeguarding water security for posterity.

Funding Needs

Sensor Dynamis has been fully bootstrapped to date, achieving its milestones without external capital. We now seek €900 000 in funding (seed, subsidies, a mix) to accelerate completion of or road-map and expand pilots across Europe. The goal is to advance from pilot to commercial scale — multiple municipal deployments in Greece within 24 months, followed by replication in Spain, Germany and Cyprus. Revenue will derive from our DaaS business model. With ACRIS, Sensor Dynamis offers Europe a strategic asset in digital climate resilience: a CE-ready, EU-manufactured, AI-driven early-warning infrastructure that turns data into foresight and uncertainty into action. Whilst development of ACRIS is underway, we will begin commercial deployment of the completed first phase of the project - AFAS (Advanced Flood Alert System).
