One of solar panels’ most common problems is that installation of solar monitoring systems is a difficult task, especially for complex projects. Several solutions exist to provide performance measurement and monitoring for solar photovoltaic installations, differing according to data quality, compatibility with irradiance sensors as well as pricing, but none is hybrid. Our deep-tech startup offers advanced solar system integration - a more efficient alternative to the competition. We satisfy the rising international need for solar energy and deal with the energy crisis by developing an innovative solar monitoring system, using a combination of hardware and software with a user-friendly hybrid GUI and a modular structure, without third-party dependencies, that supports Greece's renewable energy transition by providing cutting-edge systems that meet the latest regulatory requirements. Our advanced solar system integration is designed specifically to comply with these new standards, ensuring that our clients’ projects are fully equipped, to track the performance and output of their solar panel installations, allowing them to monitor energy production, consumption, and overall system health. We created a brand-new improved generation of hybrid systems for more efficient real-time data and historical performance metrics, control, and efficiency optimization. We focus on managing the main deficiencies of the conventional systems by replacing them with our hybrid ones.

Innovation & Scalability

Our startup created the world’s first hybrid solar monitoring system that provides real-time data metrics, control and efficiency optimization. This Greek breakthrough is an essential tool for tracking the performance and output of a solar energy system, allowing our customers to gain full control over their panels for improved efficiency and more profit. This hybrid combination of hardware/software, with modular structure and a user-friendly GUI, collects data from panels and reports it back to a server, allowing the system owner to monitor the power production in real-time. Our system offers the convenience of setting up alerts for sub-optimal performance, thus proved to be a more efficient alternative to the competition. It is designed to be compatible with a wide range of industry-leading inverters, ensuring flexibility and adaptability for any existing solar energy project. Whether inverters communicate over Ethernet, Wi-Fi, or RS-485, our system integrates seamlessly to provide real-time monitoring, control, and efficiency optimization, while it is pre-configured to minimize setup time and maximize efficiency (plug-and-play). This comparative advantage differentiates us from the conventional systems, which not only cannot predict potential failures or maintenance needs but also are not compatible with all kinds of inverters. Our novel technology, in conjunction with our innovative business model, led to 1.095.550,00€ sales from the very first 10 months of operation.

Team & Why Us

Our team consists of highly skilled experts in business administration, industrial research, marketing, and social media. Our co-founder and CEO Asterios Kantonias is an expert in startup innovation with multiyear experience and a crucial role for Kantonias Family Office (EXALCO), while our co-founder Georgios Kantonias is the head of our sales department. Our co-founder John Vogiatzakis is the head of our R&D department, while our co-founder Panagiotis Klearchos Vogiatzakis is responsible for our marketing plan and social media. It’s worth noting that these shareholders are siblings, thus constituting a well-defined strongly connected and high performing team with excellent communication, complementary roles/skills, high levels of trust, clarity of purpose, passion for research, and vision for the world’s first hybrid solar monitoring system with Greek signature. Our team, which will hire numerous Greek employees in 2025, is currently working on the next version of our novel products.

Funding Needs

We are seeking €350,000 in funding to support the scale-up phase of our startup. This capital will be used to: 1. Expand our team (product development, sales, and marketing) 2.
