About
T4i engineering provide products, solutions and services in the areas of field (on-site) chemical analysis (VOC, HAP, TIC, CWA). We offer custom-fit solutions in the areas of security, defense, space, environmental monitoring and search and rescue by using state-of-the-art chemical detectors on-board UAVs. We collaborate with UAV and UGV providers for mounting chemical detectors on-board unmanned platforms. The T4i ecosystem covers all needs for field chemical measurements: remote to handheld and fixed position chemical detectors and portable calibrators. We are experts in field chemical measurements using our field instruments. We have expertise in setting up field (on-site) tests and measurements. Instrument and software development has enriched us with experience for running testing, measurements and online monitoring in the field.
Solution & Product
In T4i engineering we target chemical detectors miniaturization based on payloads and handheld instruments requirements. Our products include: - T4i DOVER: flying chemical detector, light payload for UAVs - T4i ATMOS: fixed chemical detector, runs fully fledged chemical analysis without compromising in the field - T4i X-Machina: handheld chemical detector, specially integrated with thermal camera - T4i Symbiotic Engine: T4i software for device control, detection, monitoring and reporting - T4i Terra Ventus: powerful T4i DOVER ground station - T4i preconcentrator: preconcentration unit for ultra-low detection - T4i DYNA: less than 1-minute miniaturized sampler
Innovation & Scalability
T4i DOVER® is a light payload for UAVs for detecting chemicals addressing with innovative technology challenges of flight (altitude, temperature, humidity) in order to provide reliable chemical detection. Among the various innovations, miniaturization of the payload and combination with mini thermal camera are included. Moreover, the unique miniaturized field calibrator T4i FemtoMachine® is used as a handheld calibrator for chemical detectors providing QA/QC in the field and addressing reliability of results in critical emergencies.
Traction & achievements
Important milestones include: 2020 design of T4i FemtoMachine in Athens 2022 1st customer for T4i FemtoMachine 2023 winning of EC Security and Innovation award for T4i DOVER 2024 T4i “ecosystem” is released

Julia has industrial experience in supply chain and financial management, auditing, B2B sales and market research. Her PhD thesis was on fast GC hyphenated to Mass Spectrometry. She has a chemical analysis instrumentation background and analytical methods development. - Milt Statheropoulos (male), Chemical Engineer PhD Milt is a former Professor of Analytical Chemistry, well known for his 30 years expertise in field analytical chemistry research. He has extensive experience in the design of chemical instrumentation, software development for specific applications and especially for multivariate data analysis.
Funding Needs
T4i is open in investors that would like to exploit licensees of their products or see integration of their systems, products, platforms with T4i’s products. One example of such marketing is with UAV manufacturers which would like to broad their array of payload with a chemical detector (T4i DOVER®). Another example is OEM of chemical instrumentation which are interested in using our calibrator for their instruments (T4i FemtoMachine®) or OEM that would like to use our miniaturized fast GC and sampling unit as front-end of their vacuum or atmospheric chemical analyzers (Mass Spectrometer, Ion Mobility Spectrometer, Photoionization Detector and other). The defense and security industry are also a potential investor for a joint exploitation through their production lines and sales network.
T4i provide novel solutions using advanced chemical detectors as payloads of UAVs and UGVs.
