At Terra Robotics P.C., we believe that sustainable farming starts with smart, precise solutions. Our flagship product, the TerraWeeder, is a tractor-mounted laser weeding system that combines AI-powered plant recognition with precision lasers to selectively remove weeds without harming crops. Designed for high added-value crops such as root and bulb vegetables, leafy greens, high-density seeded crops, cotton, medicinal plants, and herbs, it addresses the everyday challenges farmers face: reducing manual labor, cutting costs, and minimizing chemical use. Through demos, field trials, and close collaboration with research partners, we continuously refine the TerraWeeder, turning advanced technology into practical, real-world impact for farmers.

After completing a series of demos and trials both in Greece and abroad, our product ZETA has demonstrated significant results in weed management effectiveness, reaching Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 7. In the coming months, we expect to secure our first product sales and form strategic partnerships to further develop and refine ZETA into a full commercial product.

Terra Robotics P.C. is a dynamic start-up founded in 2020, with a dedicated team of 10 professionals (9 full-time and 1 external) based in Northern Greece. Our team brings together expertise in robotics, AI, machine learning, agronomy, and business management, committed to revolutionizing agriculture through autonomous weeding technology. With over 9 years of experience across high-impact projects in sectors such as automotive, software engineering, and agritech, our founders have collaborated with leading companies like Audi, Porsche, Taboola, and Continental AG. Our CEO, Konstantinos Kandylas, and CTO, Petros Katsileros, have extensive technical expertise and leadership experience, while COO Ioannis Bakatsis contributes in-depth knowledge of agricultural operations. Supporting the core team are key employees, including experts in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and AI, who play crucial roles in product development. Additionally, we benefit from strong support from experienced advisors with expertise in technology, management, investments, and market strategy. These mentors guide us in making strategic decisions and scaling our solutions effectively, strengthening our position in the agritech sector.

Funding Needs

Terra Robotics P.C. seeks strategic funding to accelerate the development, deployment, and scaling of its TerraWeeder technology. Investment will support continued R&D, including field trials and optimization for diverse high-value crops, as well as the expansion of our demonstration and pilot programs across Europe. Funding will also enable growth in production capacity, technical team expansion, and the enhancement of our AI-driven platform for real-time farm insights. By securing these resources, Terra Robotics aims to bring sustainable, precision weeding solutions to a broader market, reduce farmers’ reliance on manual labor and chemicals, and strengthen its position as a leader in eco-friendly agricultural technology.
