Traction & achievements

VectorCamp has established itself as a recognized contributor to the high-performance computing ecosystem, being the creators and maintainers of Vectorscan, a high-performance regular expressions matching library and leading the development of a SIMD-focused platform that includes the SIMD.info knowledge base, SIMD.ai, and the Code.SIMD Visual Studio Code plugin. The company has been directly contracted by Arm over a 5-year period, to deliver high-performance optimizations for widely used video codecs, including x264, libvpx, and libaom, specifically tailored for Arm architectures—demonstrating both technical expertise and industry trust. Additionally, we contributed in writing seven high-quality Learning Paths for Arm. VectorCamp became an Official Arm Partner—the first and only in Greece— since November 2025 and is a Silver Member of the OpenPOWER Foundation since October 2024.

With a strong ability to adapt to emerging technologies, he ensures that VectorCamp remains at the forefront of modern software development practices. Chryssoula plays a pivotal role in organizational excellence. While not directly involved in software development, she brings an exceptional judgment in identifying skilled professionals and ensures that the company operates with structure and efficiency. Ioannis is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the company’s online presence. In addition to its core team, VectorCamp collaborates with a network of highly skilled external contractors.

Funding Needs

VectorCamp is seeking funding of €538,000 to support operations over a two-year (24 months) period in exchange for 10% equity. The allocated budget includes approximately €200,000 for the rental or purchase of a GPU server, €192,000 for a team of four developers, €48,000 for a sales person, and €48,000 for a marketing expert. Additionally, €50,000 is designated for participation in conferences and industry events. This allocation is designed to ensure both strong technical development and effective market presence, supporting the company’s growth and long-term positioning.
